Website

Situated just south of York and set in 28 acres of landscaped countryside, Raker Lakes has 4 coarse lakes and a specimen lake catering for match, pleasure and specimen anglers. There is also a small touring caravan site.

Facilities: 3/5

Make sure you take all your stuff with you coz the nearest shop is a few miles away. There's not much in the way of anything here really apart from the basics.

 Quality of fishing: 4/5

A good head of fish in this place of all different sizes. In August alone 98 doubles & 64 twenties came out so this is def a set of waters that fishes well.

 Disabled Facilities 2/5

This place can get very bogged down and there's hardly anything to cater for people with disabilities and in this day an age it is quite a shock really how bad the facilities are.

 Fish Stocks: 5/5

August - 98 doubles & 64 twenties
July - 121 doubles & 39 twenties
June - 162 doubles and 71 twenties
I think that says enough really stocked to the gills.

A really really good water for fishing, it's just a shame it gets let down on a few things mainly facilities, shop, tackle and disabled swims.
