FACILITIES 5/5

Starting with the tackle it is very well stocked but a little expensive for some items but there is a lot there, as well as drinks and snacks and some dinner items i.e. pizzas and microwave meals.
There are several huts dotted around the site with an oven & microwave, running water and a toilet you’re never really far from one and I always use them on my trips.

Quality of fishing /Fish stocks 4/5

There is a lake for everyone here and plenty of swims to pick from. I haven’t fish the bottom two lakes as thier course lakes but as for the carp and cat lakes I really enjoyed fishing here and put most of my efforts on plantation, kiln and roman lake. All the mention lakes have some big carp and cats and all seem to be stocked pretty well but as with all day ticket lakes that see a lot of pressure, you need to work for you bites the fish in the lakes are in good condition and fight hard.

Pricing 4/5

Please see their web site for pricing .But seems reasonable to me but I will pay that little bit more for bigger fish and the huts

Staff  5/5

The bailiffs here seem very well in the know about the lakes, and when you check in on arrival they tell you what lakes are busy and how they have been fishing they also have detailed depth charts that covers ever swim, They will also take you to your swim with the quad and trailer and pick you up when you finished at no extra cost.

Disabled 3/5

This is pretty steep site and the lakes are dug in to the side of a hill but the roads are pretty good and the quads are there to help. All the toilets are wheel chair friendly and swims are all flat and wood chipped so pretty good

3 out of 5 only the hills bring it down not really there fault but could be hard work

Overall 4/5

I enjoyed fishing these lakes and have met some cracking anglers here doing magazine features. Not an easy water but hard compared to others I fished, Price again is a little high but you get what you pay for and it’s worth the money in my eyes. It can get busy but as a day ticket water you would expect it to be. But there is plenty of choice and don’t think the bailiffs would see you wrong swim wise.
