A 53 acre complex of lakes catering for both Trout and Coarse Anglers within 40 Miles of London. Three Trout Lakes, Boat and Bank Fishing Tuition & Tackle Hire
4 Carp Lakes
Match Lake Complex
Fishing Lodge
Tea Rooms (food can be delivered to lake)
Maywater Lake
The Facilities : 3/5
The Fishery Lodge
This Log cabin style fishery lodge is situated on the Banks of Home Water – our most mature and picturesque trout lake. It offers a peaceful and comfortable venue from which to base your days fishing. With the awning outside we can cater for up to 50 people.
The Barn
Tea Rooms, Gift Shop and Delicatessen. Pop in for a warming Tea/Coffee/Bacon Sandwich/Snack or light lunch. Smoked products (including Chigborough Trout!) can be purchased from the deli. Sadly there are no toilets so bring toilet tissues and a bag.
Quality of fishing : 4/5
The swims are spread out well and not all bunched up like most and from all the swims you can get to a feature. Sadly, on some swims there are overhanging trees but you can get round that and it is rather weedy but can be overcome with the right rig.
Disabled Facilities : 2/5
Sadly I have not seen any platforms on or around the lake but the swims are big enough for what you might need and the car park is very close to the lake, which is good for people who can't walk far or people with back problems.
Fish Stocks: 5/5
There are a good amount of carp in this lake and a few 30 +. Also there are some big cats reporting over the 90lb mark. Bream to 12lb and Tench to 8lb.
The Staff : 5/5
The staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome. They will also give you any advice you need and will even stay for a general chit chat.
The Prices : 5/5

Overall 4/5
Overall I feel that if they do get a few platforms for people in wheelchairs, maybe get rid of some of their weed (I know they try to) it would improve the lake but the place itself is so peaceful it’s unreal! Everyone there is friendly. As long as you use the right rig for the weed (chod or a pva bag with a pop up) you should have no problem (just make sure it’s a pink pop up they are loving it at the moment).
